What's Wrong with the New Mass? June 21, Feast of St. Aloysius

________________________________

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE NEW MASS? For a start it's INVALID.

And here's a couple of good reasons why:

#1 QUO PRIMUM

In his famous Bull Quo Primum, Pope Pius V forbade changing the traditional Latin Mass.

Pope St.Pius V, Quo Primum Tempore, July 14, 1570:

[ Anno a Nativitate Domini 1570; Indict. 13, die vero 19 mensis Julii,...Papae V anno eius quinto...]

Quo Primum Tempore

"Now, therefore , in order that all everywhere may adopt and observe what has been delivered to them by the Holy Roman Church, Mother and Mistress of the other churches, it shall be unlawful henceforth and forever throughout the christian world to sing or to read Masses according to any formula other than this Missal published by US ...Accordingly, no one whomsoever is permitted to infringe or rashly contravene this notice of OUR permission, statute, ordinance, command, direction, grant, indult, declaration, will, decree, prohibition. Should any venture to do so, let him understand that he
will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul."

_______________________________

On April 3, 1969, Antipope Paul VI, replaced the Traditional Mass in the Vatican II churches with his own creation, the New Mass or Novus Ordo Missae.[with the help of six Protestants]

Antipope Paul VI even admitted to his good friend Jean Guitton that his intention in changing the Mass was to make it Protestant. Jean Guitton wrote: "The intention of Pope Paul VI with regard to what is commonly called the [New] Mass, was to reform the Catholic liturgy in such a way that it should almost coincide with Protestant liturgy. There was with Pope Paul VI an ecumenical intention to remove, or, at least to relax, what was too Catholic in the traditional sense in the Mass and, I repeat, to get the Catholic Mass closer to the Calvanist Mass."

__________________________________________

And then we have Pope Pius V's decree, De Defectibus, (concerning defects in the Mass) :

__________________________________________

#2 Pope St. Pius V, De Defectibus, chapter 5, Part 1:

"The words of the Consecration, which are the FORM of this Sacrament, are these: FOR THIS IS MY BODY. And: FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MYBLOOD, OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL TESTAMENT: THE MYSTERY OF FAITH, WHICH SHALL BE SHED FOR YOU AND FOR MANY UNTO THE REMISSION OF SINS." Now if one were to remove, or change anything in the FORM of the Consecration of the Body and Blood , and in that very change of words the [new] wording would fail to mean the same thing, he would not consecrate the sacrament."

[This teaching appeared in the front of all Roman Altar Missals from 1570 up until 1962. After that it Disappeared!]
Notice that in the vernacular translations of the New Mass throughout the world, the words of consecration have been changed and omitted:

FORM OF CONSECRATION IN THE NEW MASS
_______________________________

"For this is my body. For this is the chalice of my blood , of the new and eternal testament. It shall be shed for you and FOR ALL SO THAT SINS MAY BE FORGIVEN."

The words " for you and for many unto the remissin of sins " have been changed to for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. The word "many" has been removed and replaced with the word "all ." This huge change invalidates all the New Masses.

First, the word many was used by Jesus to institute the sacrament of the Eucharist, as we see in Matthew 26:28: " for this is my blood of the new testament , which shall be shed for many unto the remission of sins." The words used by Our Lord, "for many unto the remission of sins," represent the efficacy of the blood that Jesus shed. Jesus's blood is effective for the salvation of many, not all men. [ the blood of Jesus was shed for all men, but the fruit which mankind received from it applies to many of the human race and not to all men- Council of Trent]

And since "all" does not mean the same thing as "many", the sacrament is not confected in the New Mass.

There are a few other points which could be raised ( like "mysterium fidei" missing in the New "Mass" and invalid priests in the Vatican II church-[ to be covered later]) to show why the New Mass is invalid , but the as demonstrated above, it is amply clear that a Catholic cannot attend the New "Mass" under pain of mortal sin. Those who persist in doing so are committing idolatry (worshipping a piece of bread).

Jesus Christ is not present there.

[Fortunately, traditional Catholics know that most, if not all of these people are not validly ordained, being part of the Novus Ordo religion, and as such have no power to approve or change any Catholic practice or teaching]

QUO PRIMUM

Papal Bull decreed by Pope Saint Pius V on July 14, 1570 which set in stone for all time the exactness of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to be said in the Mother Tongue of the Church
ex decretoSs. Concilii Tridentini restitutumSummorum Pontificum curarecognitum
editio XXXI post typicam

PIUS EPISCOPUS ROMA servus servorum Dei AD PERPETUAM REI MEMORIAM

PIUS: BISHOP OF ROME Servant of the Servants of God FOR AN EVERLASTING MEMORIAL

Upon our elevation to the Apostolic throne We gladly turned Our mind and energies, and directed all Our thoughts, to the matter of preserving incorrupt the public worship of the Church; and We have striven, with God’s help, by every means in Our power to achieve that purpose.

Whereas amongst other decrees of the Holy Council of Trent We were charged with revision and re-issue of the sacred books, to wit the Catechism, the Missal and the Breviary; and whereas We have with God’s consent published a Catechism for the instruction of the faithful, and thoroughly revised the Breviary for the due performance of the Divine Office, We next, in order that Missal and Breviary might be in perfect harmony, as is right and proper (considering that it is altogether fitting that there should be in the Church only one appropriate manner of Psalmody and one sole rite of celebrating Mass), deemed it necessary to give Our immediate attention to what still remained to be done, namely the re-editing of the Missal with the least possible delay.

We resolved accordingly to delegate this task to a select committee of scholars; and they, having at every stage of their work and with the utmost care collated the ancient codices in Our Vatican Library and reliable (original or amended) codices from elsewhere, and having also consulted the writing of ancient and approved authors who have bequeathed to us records relating to the said sacred rites, thus restored the Missal itself to the pristine form and rite of the holy Fathers. When this production had been subjected to close scrutiny and further amended We, after mature consideration, ordered that the final result be forthwith printed and published in Rome, so that all may enjoy the fruits of this labor: that priests may know what prayers to use, and what rites and ceremonies they are to use henceforward in the celebration of Masses.

Now therefore, in order that all everywhere may adopt and observe what has been delivered to them by the Holy Roman Church, Mother and Mistress of the other churches, it shall be unlawful henceforth and forever throughout the Christian world to sing or to read Masses according to any formula other than that of this Missal published by Us; this ordinance to apply to all churches and chapels, with or without care of souls, patriarchal, collegiate and parochial, be they secular or belonging to any religious Order whether of men (including the military Orders) or of women, in which conventual Masses are or ought to be sung aloud in choir or read privately according to the rites and customs of the Roman Church; to apply moreover even if the said churches have been in any way exempted, whether by indult of the Apostolic See, by custom, by privilege, or even by oath or Apostolic confirmation, or have their rights and faculties guaranteed to them in any other way whatsoever; saving only those in which the practice of saying Mass differently was granted over two hundred years ago simultaneously with the Apostolic See’s institution and confirmation of the church, and those in which there has prevailed a similar custom followed continuously for a period of not less than two hundred years; in which cases We in no wise rescind their prerogatives or customs aforesaid. Nevertheless, if this Missal which We have seen fit to publish be more agreeable to these last, We hereby permit them to celebrate Mass according to this rite, subject to the consent of their bishop or prelate, and of their whole Chapter, all else to the contrary notwithstanding. All other churches aforesaid are hereby denied the use of other missals, which are to be wholly and entirely rejected; and by this present Constitution, which shall have the force of law in perpetuity, We order and enjoin under pain of Our displeasure that nothing be added to Our newly published Missal, nothing omitted therefrom, and nothing whatsoever altered there in.

We specifically command each and every patriarch, administrator and all other persons of whatsoever ecclesiastical dignity, be they even Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church, or, possessed of any other rank or pre-eminence, and We order them by virtue of holy obedience to sing or to read the Mass according to the rite and manner and norm herein laid down by Us, and henceforward to discontinue and utterly discard all other rubrics and rites of other missals, howsoever ancient, which they have been accustomed to follow, and not to presume in celebrating Mass to introduce any ceremonies or recite any prayers other than those contained in this Missal.

Furthermore, by these presents and by virtue of Our Apostolic authority, We give and grant in perpetuity that for the singing or reading of Mass in any church whatsoever this Missal may be followed absolutely, without any scruple of conscience or fear of incurring any penalty, judgment or censure, and may be freely and lawfully used. Nor shall bishops, administrators, canons, chaplains and other secular priests, or religious of whatsoever Order or by whatsoever title designated, be obliged to celebrate Mass otherwise than enjoined by Us. We likewise order and declare that no one whosoever shall be forced or coerced into altering this Missal; the force of law, notwithstanding previous constitutions or edicts of provincial or synodal councils, and notwithstanding the usage of the churches aforesaid established by very long and even immemorial prescription, saving only usage of more than two hundred years.

Consequently it is Our will, and by the same authority We decree, that one month after publication of this Our Constitution and Missal, priests of the Roman Curia shall be obliged to sing or to read the Mass in accordance therewith; others south of the Alps, after three months; those who live beyond the Alps, after six months or as soon as the Missal becomes available for purchase.

Furthermore, in order that the said Missal may be preserved incorrupt and kept free from defects and errors, the penalty for nonobservance in the case of all printers resident in territory directly or indirectly subject to Ourselves and the Holy Roman Church shall be forfeiture of their books and a fine of 100 gold ducats payable ipso facto to the Apostolic Treasury. In the case of those resident in other parts of the world it shall be excommunication latae sententiae and all other penalties at Our discretion; and by Our Apostolic authority and the tenor of these presents. We also decree that they must not dare or presume either to print or to publish or to sell, or in any way to take delivery of such books without Our approval and consent, or without express permission of the Apostolic Commissary in the said parts appointed by us for that purpose. Each of the said printers must receive from the aforementioned Commissary a standard Missal to serve as an exemplar for subsequent copies, which, when made, must be compared with the exemplar and agree faithfully therewith, varying in no wise from the first impression printed in Rome.

But, since it would be difficult for this present Constitution to be transmitted to all parts of the world and to come to the notice of all concerned simultaneously, We direct that it be, as usual, posted and published at the doors of the Basilica of the Prince of the Apostles, at those of the Apostolic Chancery, and at the end of the Campo de’Fiori; moreover We direct that printed copies of the same, signed by a notary public and authenticated with the seal of an ecclesiastical dignitary, shall possess the same unqualified and indubitable validity everywhere and in every country that would attend the display there of Our present text. Accordingly, no one whosoever is permitted to infringe or rashly contravene this notice of Our permission, statute, ordinance, command, direction, grant, indult, declaration, will, decree and prohibition.

Should any person venture to do so, let him understand that he will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul.

Given at Saint Peter’s, Rome, in the year of Our Lord’s Incarnation one thousand five hundred and seventy, on the fourteenth day of July in the fifth year of Our Pontificate.

Hi, lucidus

Thank you for your comments...glad you agreed with the posting...apart from the alusion to the website?

Had a look at the site you recommended...whoa....who's this guy? [ had to take my shades off!]

I can see why he uses dark colors for his page....looks like Satan is getting real upset...too many people looking at the Most Holy Family Monastery website, lately methinks.

Can't have that, can we!

I would seriously [ being serious, now] have a serious look at their material (MHFM)....If you don't get it the first time, and there is a lot of stuff to cover now, have another go.

It's easy for me, 'cause I started reading their material ( MHFM) back in 2002 when there were only about four articles to read, and have kept up to date over the following years...

Now, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that the Vatican II sect is not the Catholic Church, because it teaches heresy ( including denial of E.E.N.S - Outside the Church There is No Salvation , manifestly...

The Vatican II lot preach against and disbelieve just about everything and anything that the Catholic Church has solemly defined and taught through the ages.

These are not the inventions of the Dimond Bros, but what the Catholic Church has always taught, and by the way, so what if Bro Michael didn't initially follow the sedevacantist argument and now he does?

What's the guy Ethan whatshisname trying to prove...argumentum non hominem...you reackon?

I used to follow JPII for many year/ attended the novus ordo jewish masonic mess/ followed Garabandal.... I don't now! I know better. Just like Bro. Michael and heaps of other people besides...

I definitely would strongly discourage you from visiting the website you recommended to me...

This Ethan guy is a bigot/heretic/ whatever.

I actually think he might be jealous of the increasing popularity of the Most Holy Family Monastery website

I definitelt think he is doing the work of the devil!

Well, that's my sixpence worth...

Welcome to the world of bloggers...

P.S. When did you last check out the MHFM site?

Cheers

Hello, my blogger name is Pati, but my real name is Patricia.
I wanted to back you up by submiting a comment.
http://assumptionofourlady.wordpress.com/ : This website is horrible, satanic and blasphemes Our Lady.
It credits the Brothers and Most Holy Family Monastery even more. WHy? Our Lady of Fatima did say the Devil was in the mood to engage in a battle with her. Doesn't that site demonstrate this mood ?
You shall know a tree by it's fruit. Well assumptionofourlady is a bad tree with alot of rotten fruit. It doesn't fool me at all.
The Truth is coming out more and more everyday, and time is running out for the bad guy. THis truth going out to people of good will , who can see, are humble and who submit to God's wil. People who have been deceived like you and I including the Brothers at MHFM, we will not be fooled any longer. It took a long time for me to digest all of the truthful information. They say the truth will set you free and it really hurts.
Keep posting....

Hi Pati,

Bonjour, and thank you kindly for your comments...I see I am going to have to brush up on my French...that is if I wish to peruse your blogs...and by all accounts it looks an interesting site!

Apologies for taking so long in acknowledging your comments, but I have just gone back on line after nearly two months being off the internet... The reason being that I have changed locations and now reside at a new address in New Zealand.

And in case you are curious as to where our new residence is (like the Oysters...remember?)...it doesn't have a harbour bridge or a Beehive nor a statue of Robbie Burns...it's pretty close to a French settlement nestled in a small harbour....

You sound like a sensible lady, and it's very rare to come across someone who has kept their head amongst all the confusion and distractions that we are confronted with on a daily basis...

...there go I but for the grace of God...and your devotion to the Mother of God, perhaps?

Just to assure you that I intend posting further articles, and I am planning to post something on Bishop Williamson SSPX ,and his comments on the so called holocaust and his upsetting the Jews and the Vatican take on the subject and so on....maybe the MHFM have done something on it by now? [think that's his name...will confirm later]

You are so right...the truth is slowly coming out...and for so long we have all been fed a load of lies, feed on by the Jewish controlled media...Global Warming, Holocaust,United Nations, Evolution, UFO's,Jewish controlled media, World Wars...Mmmm, what else? Don't forget the Communist/Freemason takeover of the Vatican in 1958...

I am about to check the MHFM site...it's been a long time and no doubt I have much catching up reading to do...

Once again, merci...

keep checking back...

p.s. must find that English/French dictionary, he,he,he.

Hello,

I was glad to receive your news.
Welcome back and I will be visiting your blog. I can't wait to read your new posts!
The Brothers over on MHFM have been posting about the Holocaust. People have been writing in to talk about it. It's popular news right now. Maybe some people will wake up now.
Thank you for checking out my space. I left a message for you.
You can click on the first flag (english)on the top, to translate from French to English. It is not a perfect translation, but I hope you will understand a little better. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Have a great one !
