International Fluoridation Expert to Speak in Petone

The new Government proposal to shift responsibility of fluoridation from the local councils to the District Health Boards will mean mandatory fluoridation for the whole of New Zealand as the DHBs are contractually obligated to carry out Ministry of Health policy. This means fluoridation chemicals will be added to the Petone and Korokoro water supply.

Professor Paul Connett is an international leading expert in fluoridation. He has been researching and speaking on this topic for 20 years. His talk will explain why fluoridation should not be started in Petone and, indeed, why it should be stopped throughout New Zealand.
