Babylon Has Fallen, Fallen! - by Brother Peter Dimond
_________________________
"Revelation 18:2 says that the angel cried out with a strong voice, saying, 'Fallen, Fallen is Babylon the Great!
Did you ever wonder why the prophecy uses the word 'fallen' two times and not just once?
The words of Scripture are inspired. Every word has significance. There is a specific reason that the angel whose words St. John recorded in Revelation 18:2 said, 'Fallen, Fallen is Babylon the Great.
Revelation 18:2 fulfilled in the Light Show on St. Peter's Basilica |
We will explain it here, but people need to watch this entire video all the way through.
Revelation 18:2 prophesied that Babylon the great will fall and become the prison of every unclean bird and beast as our video Revelation 18:2 Just Happened showed that part of the prophecy was strikingly fulfilled in the Vatican on December 8, 2015.
On that day the Vatican II sect held an unprecedented light show called 'Fiat Lux' on the 50th Anniversary of the ending of Vatican II (1962-1965). During this light show the images and sounds of all kinds of unclean birds and beasts were projected onto St. Peter's Basilica corresponding exactly to the prophecy in Revelations 18:2 about how Babylon the great has become the prison of every unclean bird and beast.
'Fiat Lux' light show 'making a monkey' of St. Peter's Basilica |
In fact, as the video covers, the prophecy uses the word ἔπεσεν in Greek to describe how Babylon has fallen and become the prison of every unclean bird and beast, and the pillars in front of St. Peter's Basilica look just like prison bars, so that when the images of the animals and birds were projected onto St. Peter's Basilica during the light show they appeared to be in a prison or cage exactly as the prophecy states.
The Light Show on St. Peter's Basilica was a stunning and direct fulfillment of what's prophesied in Rev. 18:2 and the event symbolized the fall of the City of Rome into uncleanness, apostasy and idolatry in the final days as a result of the takeover of Rome by the Vatican II antipopes and their end-times counter church, the Vatican II sect, which is what the prophecies concerning the whore of Babylon in general are about.
It's also not an accident that the Light Show which perfectly fulfilled Apocalyptic prophecy about Babylon, occurred on the 50th Anniversary of the close of Vatican II, for Vatican II was the very council of apostasy that ushered in and characterizes the apocalyptic counter church, the Vatican II sect, the end-times 'whore of Babylon.'
God gave the world this great and incredible sign, this clear and spectacular fulfillment of the prophecy of Rev. 18:2 on St. Peter's Basilica, so that even the most blind people out there have another chance to recognize where we are in history and the whore of Babylon, the Vatican II, which is not the Catholic Church but the end-times counter church is occupying Rome right now.
Vatican II - Council of the Great Apostasy |
The fulfillment of this prophecy on St. Peter's Basilica also provides the key to identifying the meaning and location of Babylon in the New Testament and in Apocalyptic prophecy. This is of tremendous significance to understanding the current situation and why the Angel says, 'Fallen, Fallen,' twice.
Vatican II antipopes commit idolatry and apostasy |
The fulfillment of Rev. 18:2 on St. Peter's Basilica did not merely confirm the identity of New Testament Babylon in a general way. No, it confirmed the meaning, location and identity of New Testament Babylon in an extremely specific way with pin point accuracy and laser-like precision as we will see.
St. Peter identifies the City of Rome as Babylon and the very place where St. Peter is. |
In Peter 5:13. St Peter writes from Rome and he calls it Babylon. Since St. Peter was writing from Rome, yet he calls it Babylon, many commentators through the centuries have recognized that St. Peter used the word 'Babylon' as a code name for the City of Rome. Further, since the prophecies about the whore of Babylon in the Apocalypse are clearly connected to the City of Rome, the City of Seven Mountains mentioned in Revelation 17, many have connected the New Testament code name 'Babylon' with the City of Rome.
While Babylon does refer to the City of Rome, its actual meaning is even more specific and significant to the Apocalyptic prophecies than almost anyone realizes. We cover this in our video on "Revelation 18:2," but it will be expanded upon here, because understanding the exact and precise location of New Testament Babylon provides the key to understanding the fulfillment and sign of 'Fallen, Fallen.'
According to the inspired words of 1 Peter 5:13, Babylon is not merely the city in which St. Peter was located, which we know historically to have been Rome, but more specifically, Babylon is the exact location of St. Peter's Church in that city.
In 1 Peter 5:13, St. Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost wrote: "The church that is in Babylon, elected together with you, salutes you..." So, St. Peter's Church is in Babylon.
There is a scriptural equation between Babylon and the location of St. Peter's church in that city, and the location of St. Peter himself in that city.
Now, it should be noted that the original Greek of 1 Peter 5:13 contains the word συνεκλεκτή and not the word
συνεκλεκτή means 'she who is co-elect,' while ...
is the common word for church.
By using συνεκλεκτή St. Peter was referring to his church or congregation in Babylon as many commentators acknowledge. That's why most translators of 1 Peter 5:13 include the word 'church.' But even if someone prefers a different translation it is beyond dispute that according to 1 Peter 5:13, Babylon's location equals the place where St. Peter is located and the recognition of this fact suffices for recognition of the points which follow.
Thus, according to inspired scripture Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Church and the place where St. Peter is.
That is the location of Babylon according to 1 Peter 5:13. Further, since we know that the City in which St. Peter was located was Rome, we can say that Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Church in Rome and the very place in Rome where St. Peter is.
Now the modern day St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican was built was built on the very spot in Rome where St. Peter was buried; the Basilica was constructed on St. Peter's grave, serving as a fitting symbol for how Jesus Christ constructed the Universal Church upon St. Peter.
The fact that St. Peter's Basilica was built on St. Peter's grave was confirmed by historical sources, ancient Christian tradition and archeological findings.
This is a picture of the High Altar in St. Peter's Basilica, which is right above the spot where St. Peter was buried. That means that St. Peter's Basilica is literally the place in Rome where St. Peter is located. It is also literally St.Peter's Church in Rome.
So, if we adhere to the inspired definition of 1 Peter 5:13, that Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Church and the very place where St. Peter is, we can see why Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Basilica, for St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican is St. Peter's Church, and it is the very place where St. Peter is located.
And even those who take the false position which is contradicted by historical evidence and the majority of scholarly commentary, that St. Peter did not write from Rome in 1 Peter 5:13, but from some other city should still recognize the equation between Babylon's location and St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, because 1 Peter 5:13 equates Babylon's location with St. Peter's Church and the place where St. Peter is, and the only place in the world that is both St. Peter's Church and the place where St. Peter is, is St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
But, the true and full definition of Babylon's location is that it is St. Peter's Church in Rome where St. Peter is, which of course, is St. Peter's Basilica. And, as we will see, these points and prophetic fulfillments don't contradict, but actually confirm the truth of the Catholic Church, the papacy and the apostolic tradition of the Church of Rome, whose first bishop and pope was St. Peter.
The prophecies concern the departure from the Catholic faith in St. Peter's Basilica and Rome in the final days because the Catholic faith is the true faith of Christ.
These prophecies and their fulfillment demonstrate that the Church of Rome has an apostolic tradition that goes back to St. Peter himself.
The term 'Babylon' in the strict sense simply denotes a location.
It is St. Peter's Church in Rome and the place where St. Peter is. In certain context as in the Apocalyptic prophecies that place where St. Peter is, becomes connected with the whore, because of what's prophesied to happen there during the final apostasy.
But in 1 Peter 5:13, Babylon was where the true church, not a false church was located. Likewise, throughout history, that place, St Peter's in the Vatican, was where the true church was located, but something of great significance happens at that place during the apostasy and deception of the final days.
So, while Babylon refers to the City of Rome when you zoom out a little bit, and when you zoom out even more you see Europa collectively, that is pagan Europe in the final days, the woman on the beast that St. John prophesied, who is politically united under the European Union and spiritually led by apostate Rome in the last days.
But when you zoom in as far as you can and you look at Babylon's most precise and exact location, it is St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, because that is St. Peter's Church in Rome, the very place in Rome where St. Peter is.
That is where Babylon is located according to the inspired definition of 1 Peter 5:13. That is the epicentre of the spiritual earthquake if you will. It is where the events that transformed Rome, Europe and the rest of the world in the final days occurred.
St. Peter's Basilica is where the very proceedings of Vatican II took place. Those proceedings changed the peoples, multitudes and tongues that followed Babylon by leading the entire diocesan structure of the world in its various nations and languages into heresy and apostasy.
St. Peter's Basilica is the Temple of God where the 'man of sin' sat.
St. Peter's Basilica is where the veneration of his image was formalized. St. Peter's Square was where the 'man of sin' was wounded. The false elections of antipopes John XXIII and Paul VI, which were so significant to this apostasy took place in the Sistine Chapel which is a short walk from St. Peter's Basilica and there apostate revolutionaries presented themselves on the balcony of St. Peter's Basilica thereafter.
St. Peter's Basilica is the location of Babylon according to 1 Peter 5:13, and what do you know! When you apply this definition that Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Basilica to the prophecy you get an absolute 'bulls-eye,' for as we saw then prophecy in 18:2 about Babylon becoming the prison or cage of every unclean bird and beast was fulfilled not in some other part of Rome, but spectacularly on St. Peter's Basilica itself right over St. Peter's grave!
It happen there on St. Peter's Church in the very place in Rome where St. Peter is because that Babylon's location. In fact the prophecies fulfillment was intertwined with the specific features of St. Peter's Basilica for in describing the birds and beasts in prison, the angel was describing the very pillars in front of St. Peter's Basilica, that made it look like the birds and animals were in a prison.
This is a stunning confirmation of the scriptural equation of 1 Peter 5:13, that Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Church and the place where St. Peter is. When a person understands and internalizes this point, he should not only clearly recognize that the 'whore of Babylon' is in Rome now, in controlling St. Peter's Basilica, the Temple of God now, during this apostasy, and he should also recognize these points prove the inspiration of scripture.
They demonstrate that St. John's prophecy in Revelation 18:2 about what would happen in Babylon in the final days was fulfilled with pin point accuracy on St. Peter's Church in Rome in perfect conformity with the exact definition of Babylon's location, written down by St. Peter almost 2000 years earlier in 1 Peter 5:13. But there's more.
We've been discussing Revelation 18:2 and how it was fulfilled specifically at St. Peter's Basilica. Well, there's another part of that verse, the part where the angel says, 'Fallen, Fallen is Babylon the great.'
Consistent with what we've covered, Babylon's location equals St. Peter's Basilica, it would make sense that the words 'Fallen, Fallen is Babylon the great,' would also have application to St. Peter's Basilica, because as we've seen that is Babylon's present location.
Now, during this prophesied apostasy has any major event or sign happened two times at St. Peter's Basilica? Has something that attracted the attention of the entire world, an event that's connected to the momentous developments in Rome during this period happened twice at St. Peter's Basilica?
Something that comes to mind are the two lightning strikes at the top of St. Peter's Basilica on the day that antipope Benedict XVI resigned on February 11, 2013.
On that day lightning struck the top of St. Peter's Basilica not once, but twice!
The resignation of antipope Benedict XVI was huge. It shocked the world, it dominated the news and it was directly connected to apocalyptic prophecies because antipope Benedict XVI was the Seventh Roman King of prophecy.
He was the Seventh King of the Vatican City State and his resignation represented the end of the period of the Seven Kings. That's covered in our material.
Antipope Benedict XVI resigned on a February 11, 2013. February 11th was the day in 1929 when the Vatican and the Italian Government signed the Lateran Treaty which created the Vatican City State.
It's a historical fact that as a result of that agreement, Pope Pius XI became the First King of the Vatican City State on February 11, 1929. It's also a historical fact that antipope Benedict XVI was the Seventh King of the Vatican City State.
So the first king of the Vatican City State received his kingship on February 11, 1929, and the 7th king resigned, ceasing to be a king of the Vatican City State on a February 11, 2013. That's not just a coincidence!
The resignation of the seventh king of the Vatican City State on February 11, was another confirmation that Pius XI through Benedict XVI were indeed the seven kings of the prophecy, and the next man, antipope Francis openly rejects all aspects of kingship.
Antipope Francis doesn't even use the passport of the king of the Vatican City State. He uses a regular Argentinian passport among other things. That's another way God has demonstrated that Francis is not one of the seven priest-kings.
The seven kings of the apocalyptic prophecy were Pope Pius XI through antipope Benedict XVI.
Besides openly rejecting all aspects of kingship, Francis was "ordained" in the invalid New Rite of Ordination. He therefore cannot be a Priest-King of the Vatican City State -"Sacerdotal-Monarchy" as our material covers.
Antipope Benedict XVI's resignation signalled the end of the seven kings and it was directly connected to the prophecy in the apocalypse about the 'beast' and the 'whore of Babylon.'
And just a few hours after that monumentous event which shocked the entire world and captured the attention of all the news outlets, lightning struck the top of St. Peter's Basilica not once, but twice, in two separate strikes.
It was an awesome and ominous sign. The lightning at the top of St. Peter's Basilica when the whole world was focused on the resignation caused even members of the secular press to wonder if it was a divine sign and what it might mean?
We submit to you that in Revelation 18:2, the angel says 'Fallen, Fallen,' because he's referring specifically to the two lightning strikes at Babylon, at St. Peter's Basilica on that day.
We submit to you that when Revelation 18:2 says 'Fallen, Fallen,' it refers to 'Lightning, Lightning' on Babylon at St. Peter's Basilica, and if this is correct that 'Fallen, Fallen' is Babylon, actually means 'Lightning, Lightning' at St. Peter's Basilica, it would make sense that there would be some connection between 'Fallen' and 'Lightning.'
It would make sense that God's inspired word would connect what is described as 'Fallen' with what appears as 'Lightning.'
Well, it most certainly does!
In Luke 10:18, Jesus said to them: "I saw Satan fall from heaven as lightning."
The word in the Greek for 'fall' in Luke 10:18 is a participle form of the verb πίπτω the very same verb that's used in Revelation 18:2 for fallen.
So the inspired word of God, indeed, Jesus Christ Himself, says that He saw Satan fall as lightning. That means that in God's word, just as there is a direct connection between Babylon's location and St. Peter's Church, the place where St. Peter is, there is also a direct connection between 'fall' and 'lightning.'
God's word is perfect! It is inspired!
We can thus apply its formula: Luke 10:18 connects 'fall' with 'lightning.' Scripture also connects Babylon's location with St. Peter's Basilica...."
There is a prophecy in Revelation 18:2 that says"Fallen, Fallen is Babylon ...
If we apply scripture's formula and understand lightning as the sign of fallen and understand St. Peter's Basilica as the location of Babylon we get another absolute bulls-eye! For we are left with a prophecy of: 'Lightning, Lightning at St. Peter's Basilica.'
Since 'Lightning, Lightning at St. Peter's Basilica would have been too obvious, the angel in Revelation 18:2 used the scriptural code name 'Babylon' in place of St. Peter's Church in Rome, and the scriptural designation, 'Fallen, Fallen' for what appears as 'Lightning, Lightning.
That's, once again, we see, that the prophecies in the apocalypse about Babylon, when considered in conjunction with the inspired definition of Babylon in 1 Peter 5:13 pinpoint Babylon's exact location as St. Peter's Basilica itself, St. Peter's Church in Rome, the very place where St. Peter is located.
Revelation 18:2's reference to 'Fallen, Fallen of course, also describes the fall of the City of Rome into apostasy from the Catholic faith during the post-Vatican II apostasy, but the angel deliberately uses the word 'Fallen, Fallen,' two times and not once, because he's referring to the specific event on February 11, 2013 which was marked by the sign 'Lightning, Lightning,' the two separate lightning strikes at the top of Babylon on a day of monumental significance to the end-times counter church and the prophecies in the apocalypse.
The accuracy of these points and the prophetic connection between Luke 10:18 and Revelation 18:2 is further cemented when we consider that in Luke 10:18 the participle fall is paired with Lightning in connection to what?
In connection to the presence and movement of Satan, demons and unclean spirits. Luke 10:17 refers to demons. Luke 10:20 refers to spirits, meaning unclean spirits. Luke 10:18 refers, of course to Satan.
In Revelation 18:2 we see the exact same thing. In Revelation 18:2, the 'Fallen, Fallen,' is directly connected to what?
To the presence and movement of demons and unclean spirits just as in Luke 10:17-20 . The very first thing Revelation 18:2 mentions after saying, 'Fallen in Babylon the great,' is that Babylon has become the habitation of demons and the prison of every unclean spirit, the very words we find in Luke 10:17-20.
The inspired parallel is undeniable. In Luke 10:17-20 we have references to the presence and movements of demons and spirits in a passage that connects 'fall' with 'lightning.'
In Revelation 18:2 we have references to the presence and movement of demons and spirits in a prophecy about 'Fallen, Fallen.' So where's the 'as lightning as lightning' in Revelation 18:2 which one would expect to see in accord with Revelation 18:2's clear parallel to Luke 10:17-20?
The answer is that the 'as lightning as lightning' is contained in the very event that fulfilled the prophecy, 'Lightning, Lightning at St. Peter's Basilica', and the rest of the verse about unclean birds and beasts in Babylon, was also fulfilled where?
At the exact same spot at St. Peter's Basilica, at St. Peter's Church in Rome, the precise location of Babylon. Indeed, think of it this way. In Luke 10:18, Jesus tells us that the sign Satan fell to a particular place was 'lightning,'
In Revelation 18:2 the sign that Babylon has 'Fallen. Fallen' to demons and every unclean spirit, which, of course includes Satan, was 'Lightning, Lightning.'
That means that under the Vatican II antipopes and their counter church, the Vatican II sect, St. Peter's Basilica is currently the home of every kind of unclean spirit.
That shows you how evil the end-times Vatican II counter church is.
It's also extremely interesting to note that the High Altar in St. Peter's Basilica, which as we mentioned is located directly above St. Peter's grave, is covered by this bronze canopy called St. Peter's Baldekin. This canopy is at the centre of the crossing and directly under the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, or to put it another way: "the tomb of St. Peter lies exactly under the central Altar and dome of the basilica."
That means that when 'Lightning, Lightning' struck the very top of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, it was striking the exact spot with pinpoint accuracy of St. Peter's grave, the exact location of Babylon. Amazing!
It should also be noted that the emphatic language, 'Fallen, Fallen,' at the beginning of the angel's prophecy, emphasizes the sense of amazement engendered by what has happened at Babylon.
This amazement is consistent both with the shocking nature of the event that constituted the fulfillment of the prophecy and the fact that Babylon's fall into apostasy is unexpected.
Babylon's fall is unexpected and shocking because St. Peter's Basilica and Rome are normally the opposite of what they have become in the final days.
The true Catholic Church before Vatican II |
This further indicates that the Catholic faith is the true faith, and that end-times prophecies concern the falling away from it.
The Vatican II sect has become the habitation of demons |
In the final apostasy Babylon has become the habitation of demons and the counter church, and this is shocking because it was not that way throughout the rest of church history, and these events in Babylon have reduced the true Catholic Church, which still exists in a remnant of faithful traditional Catholics in accord with what divine revelation and prophecy indicate would happen in the last days.
These points show us where we are in history and in fulfillment of the prophecies.
Antipope John Paul II, the beast of Apocalypse, is mortally wounded and yet lived |
We are certainly in the period prophesied in Revelation 18:2 concerning the 'whore' of Babylon. That necessarily means that we are in the period of the end-times beast, for the whore and the beast are connected and intertwined in prophecy.
Antipope John Paul II - the beast of the apocalypse |
The explanation of the whore is part of the explanation of the beast.
Antipope Benedict XVI's resignation February 11, 2013 |
The first sign of Revelation 18:2 'Fallen, Fallen,' occurred on the day of antipope Benedict XVI's resignation February 11, 2013. The rest of verse was stunningly fulfilled on December 8, 2015, and keep in mind that the apostasy did not begin on those dates, rather those events in 2013 and 2015 were signature signs God gave to the world about the apostasy that had been led from St. Peter's Basilica since Vatican II and that we are in the final stage of it.
