Definition:

One definition describes it as a period in history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and balance of power [Wikipedia] , which also gives an alternative description as that of a group conspiring to rule the world via world government and globalisation.
We will be examining the latter proposition, for reasons which hopefully will become clearer as we proceed down this line...
